A chronicle of the shows I’ve attended in New York City, and the other events of this past week. Saturday, August 26. Morning flight from Lambert. Arrival at my Chelsea hotel on 24th at 1.30 p.m. thanks to slow transit and a late-arriving Southwest flight. Lunch of salad and polpette and some Prosecco. Mom & Dad
Today is my parents’ 64th wedding anniversary. They made it to 38 years, and then Mom was gone.
NYC
I’m in NYC right now, more of which later this week. But I’ve been seeing some fine art!

And the blog entry: https://jeffreycarter.wordpress.com/2007/08/25/the-44th-cast/. Many of these good people are now parents. Some are entertaining still. At least one is a church musician. Some haveContinue reading “#TBT: Foundation Days”
Finis
The Muny season has ended. On an extraordinary high called Sister Act, one of the most-fun shows ever. God bless Alan Menken. I grabbed pics last night with two former students who work at the Muny. Charlie Mueller is Education Programs Manager. Nic Valdez has been rehearsal accompanist or on keys for three shows thisContinue reading “Finis”
