In the past few days, I’ve grown very serious about finishing the research project that started 2.5 years ago on a whim.  The American Operetta Project has an end in sight.  I’m nearing the final decision on which songs make the cut. Stacks of papers are being reduced daily.  I’m at 70 on the list,

Growing up Carter

These pics are from 1962.  We are at the Carter house in De Soto; the house burned down years ago.  I’m with my parents, and my father’s brother Jim and Margaret, his wife.  Uncle Jim and Aunt Marg live in Jefferson City now.  One picture has my Pop Carter with his two sons.
