Hadestown

I attended last evening a most striking and beautifully conceived and executed production of Hadestown at Nerinx Hall. Of course I was delighted that two of my private voice students are in leading roles of Hermes and Eurydice. This was high-class high school theatre, setting the bar quite high for this year’s Ken Page Awards.

Fall Break NYC: three-show day

I’ve only done this once before in my life, this thing called a three-show day. And at 11.30 p.m. and just back at my hotel, I’m pretty wiped out.  Physically. Mentally.  Emotionally.
