Feast Day

Today is the Feast of St. Thomas. When I converted to the Episcopal Church in the early 1990s, I took Thomas’ name as my confirmation name. Here is some detail about St. Thomas. Since this feast day occurs on a Sunday this year, I’ll celebrate the feast tomorrow instead.

Looking ahead

The Spring 2026 calendar is a bit of a jigsaw puzzle, with at least seventeen productions I need to see, all related to my private voice studio or to adjudication for a local non-profit. All of this is February through April. And then there’s SLSO performances and other theatrical events to attend, and Webster University

Doctors

December always seems to bring a number of medical appointment appointments. Last week was a visit with my primary care physician. A1C is the best it’s been in two years. Weight is staying steady. A pat on the back and a “keep up the good work” made me happy. Today is one of my thrice
