I am spending several hours daily in my home office/library, now that the sabbatical structure has commenced. Maisie has, for the past year, slept on my bed in the other room, where when I’m in the office she can see me if she wishes. But this week she has decided she likes my wing chair

I cleaned my office fairly well before leaving it for a couple of weeks, now that the semester is ended. But there is always a stack of books and papers somewhere. And I’m not showing the credenza behind my desk!
