Hammerstein bio

I finished this book Monday on my flight back from NYC. Believe it or not, this was a quasi-page-turner! I’d get into a chapter and not want to stop. The author takes plenty of excursions: to Rodgers, to Sondheim, to Hammerstein’s grandfather, the “I” of the family. This was a fine read indeed. Here’s a
