Today is the anniversary of the birth of Sir Winston Churchill. In my collection are several versions of the first day of issue cancellation of the Churchill stamp: And just last week, I finished my year-long read of a voluminous biography of the great man.

Note to self
When using your whipped cream dispenser, freshly primed with gas, be certain to press gently on the trigger, and hold the nozzle perpendicular to the object receiving the whipped cream. The nozzle on the side with a low acute angle is not a good idea.
