I was 17. This photo was taken in the photo darkroom at Lee’s Summit High School in September 1978. I weighed quite a bit less that I do now. I still wear patterned shirts.

From my last family vacation where all five of us Carters were on the road together, in 1978: We went out through Colorado, then down to Glorieta Baptist Conference Center in New Mexico for Student Week. My parents loved Colorado and New Mexico!
