Local tourism is one of weekly activities on the agenda for this quarter-year away from university teaching (AKA summer break). I started last week with a lecture at the Missouri History Museum. The topic was ‘forgotten cemeteries of Saint Louis.’ Then I drove around Forest Park on a beautiful mid-Spring day.
