Week #2

Today is the end of weekdays for week #2 of my summer ‘holiday.’

As my friend Karyn posted this week:

I seem to have a very full dance card.

Of course I am loaded up with educational activities, including:

  • the Somatic VoiceWorks webinar series
  • a course through NEC on vocal acoustics
  • the Bulletproof Musician course on performance anxiety and readiness
  • and leftover courses from last year on music technology and on Jungian psychology
  • cooking classes at Kitchen Conservatory

And reading loads of music and articles and books, mostly about voice, as I continue my quest to be the best voice teacher I can be, and to stay current on the profession. And having meals with people I really like.

And . . . I love me some smoker success! First attempt at burger:
