Sabbatical

At about 5.30 p.m. today, my first-ever sabbatical leave commenced.  I did a couple of happy-dance jigs on my way down the hallway and out of Thompson House. The next four months and two weeks are new adventure.  I have much to accomplish, and projects to tend and nurture and complete.  And I have books

Here’s the freshman musical theatre class after their voice placement session on Saturday afternoon….. I have two of these students in my studio, with the rest being shared by six other teachers.   We have some insanely talented 18-year-olds here, joining the music majors in their ‘one-of-the-best-classes-ever’ ability.
