Sammy and I went to Forest Park today for a walk.  We had a good time, but I think he enjoyed it more than I did.  He’s a burrower, having burrowed under the blankets last night as we went to bed, and sleeping against my legs.  Funny thing, though – he rolled out of bed

So I’m at the drive-thru window at the bank, in the second lane from the left.  I had a surreal couple of minutes. Saturday morning now.  I’m in Lee’s Summit, the family home, where at 7.30 a.m. I’m ready to leave the Hampton Inn where I’ve stayed for the last two nights, and to take breakfast with TN. I arrived here around 5 p.m. Friday, as the sun was setting in a beautiful way off to the southwest.
