The upstairs bathroom renovation began Monday with demolition day. By 430 PM Monday the appointments, fixtures, floor, and all the tile = gone. The start of all of this was the need to replace, with modern will-outlast-the-roaches PVC, the entire 110-year-old cast iron stack and under-floor cast iron drain pipes in the upstairs bath —
