Muny review: Sweeney Todd

Dark. This show is dark. Chilling. The moments of humor are needed. Necessary. And gratefully received by the audience. For Sondheim fans, and especially folks like me who know this show so well, the humor comes more frequently in Sondheim’s sly lyrics and witty rhymes. But this is all missing the point, which is: Sweeney
