Lists

I made lists last weekend.

Summer lists.

Summer lists to guide, but not to prescribe, and certainly not to cause me to not enjoy free time as well.

I have a list of people with whom to dine as I seek to be more intentional about relationships. A list of books to read. A list of recipes to try. A list of resources to read for class I’m considering developing. A list of things to do in and around Saint Louis. And a list of recordings to track down.

Soon enough, I’ll have lists related to the National Association of Teachers of Singing and the regional governor position.

I have a list of travel dates as well. And then August will hit and I have the list already going for back-to-school things such as syllabi and course alterations and the like. But that can await August.
