Hiya, CVS.

You’re a retail store, and so you are supposed to be about happy customers, no?

So I walked in on Friday afternoon, waited in line at the pharmacy, asked for flu shot, and was told I needed an appointment.

And I had to make one on line. The pharmacy staff couldn’t do so for me, even though no one else was in line and the store was physically quiet. (True, I don’t know what work queue was on the computer.)

Problem is: “walk-ins welcome”!

Right there in your little between-doors area. Walk-ins welcome.

You are convenient, that’s for sure.

But my last three visits to your store have been disappointing from the customer service perspective, so I won’t be back.

I’m adding you to a growing list of places who don’t seem to desire my business.

And I have an appointment for a flu shot next week at Costco, where they know me by name in spite of the place being a ginormous box store.
