Perspective

Life is truly all about perspective.

Last week I was fussing because I couldn’t find my score to Hello, Dolly!. “Who did I loan it to?,” I wondered aloud, with a few blue words thrown in for emphasis.

Standing in front of one of my bookshelves, the score was not where it was supposed to be, between Hamilton and In the Heights on that next-to-bottom shelf.

This week, as I sat at my piano, I discovered the score.

Ol’ yellow and tattered Dolly was hiding a bit, but there she was, atop other books on the shelf where she belongs.

Perspective, anyone?
