Dinner

That’s a salmon fillet with a passionfruit reduction and chives, honey-roasted carrots and tomatoes, and some rice. Saturday dinner was DEEE-vine.

Reduced

It has happened. I have become that guy. I have become that guy who is perfectly happy to live in, walk the dog in, lounge outdoors in . . . his sweatpants and a sweatshirt. Or his plaid pajama bottoms. And a sweatshirt. Preferably one of the items of loungewear has a Jayhawk on it.

Coddling

I read about coddled eggs the other day, and had to have them. So, thanks to EBay, I now own two egg coddlers, and am enjoying eggs in a different presentation many mornings. From the office this week… Nelson had crawled from my lap up onto the desk. And then the neighbor girl came calling on Friday. I think in kindergarten she was learning political science.
