In the elevator

I got to spend a blessed two hours today with my mentor and friend of nearly 30 years standing, John Schaefer.

But on the way to my car, I took an elevator selfie. Can you tell how chuffed I was about getting to see John?

Later in the day, running some errands, I made a drive by the house in which I grew up, on Wingate in the Briarcroft subdivision in Lee’s Summit:
