Seven weeks

Thank before you bank. That’s a fundraiser’s commitment.

Seven weeks ago today I donated dog food and other things, in aggregate worth more than $100, to Needy Paws Rescue, a local agency.

I have yet to receive a thank-you acknowledgement.

This is in addition to other matters relating to the disappearance of my little buddy Nelson.

Needy Paws may be a well-respected agency in many circles, but they have dug a deep, yawning hole with me.

How I wish people would just do the right thing at the right time for the right reason, in the right way.
