Meals

On this first full day of my 61st year (yesterday being a partial day in the new cycle, since I was born in the middle of the night), I ate well.

This looks a mess, but it’s fab! I took a 12-hour-old apple fritter, cut it laterally, slapped some butter in the skillet, and fried it, cut side down.

It’s like an apple fritter French toast.

And dinner was a green salad of red lettuce, green onion, yellow cherry tomato from the garden, and English cucumber, all with homemade croutons and homemade balsamic dressing.

And a burger from the smoker.
