Buying local

Marketwagon.com is a local goods service that delivers to homes in a multi-county region.

Since I’m not braving crowds, and since the farms are usually a far piece away from each other, I’m stocking up this week on some freezer essentials.

Delivery is today.

Well, the honey and cream are not freezer material, I guess. But I’m eager for some Canadian bacon for breakfast and snacking, and I’m out of ground lamb for that rice and lamb dish I make, and for broiled spiced lamb balls with tzatziki.

Oh how I love to cook!
