Versailles

Book #2 of the year. Truth be told, I started this one a couple of years ago. The book was recommended to me by a bike tour guide in Potsdam several summers ago.

The mistakes these men (and they were all men, as this was 1919) made have led to a century of conflict in so many parts of the world. World War II came about in large part because of their mistakes as well.

And the tale is fascinating, if filled with caution.
