I have much to report about Gloucester this evening, but at 10.30 p.m., and in the hotel bar after a late dinner, I’m weary and ready to head upstairs. So, I post some pictures of the outbound journey from Paddington Station to Gloucester!
A street scene in the country, from the train.
The Malvern Hills.
That’s the tower of the cathedral in the middle of the photo.
I took the Thames Clipper service to Greenwich and back today. The way up included photos; the return, video. I’ll need to edit and prep the latter.
Here are shots from the outbound journey this morning at low tide.
From the embarkment pier.
The Shard, under construction.
The White Tower at the Tower of London.
The Cutty Sark.
Here are scenes from my road trip to Indiana and Ohio:
Got Jesus? At Effingham.
Old and new in Indiana. In the back of the buggy are three little kids, all dressed in sober black on the way to worship.
Meramec Caverns advertises on barns everywhere, even in Ohio.
The bridge over the Ohio at Louisville, over which I crossed into Indiana.
The Ohio River at Louisville.
Ingrid the Volvo is about to hit a milestone.
On I-64 today, just east of Evansville, Indiana, Ingrid turned 20,000.
The Wabash River dividing Indiana and Illinois.
Illinois is FLAT.
And oil pump, powered by propane.
