Tangier: Saturday at the market

We ducked back into the souk in the corner of the medina on Saturday.

After walking through the noisy throng in the fish market, with water from fresh fish dripping onto the floor, my shoes smelled of fish for the next couple of hours. I know this because the scent of fish was with me for a couple of hours.  And I’d not touched anything!

Before hitting the fish market, we stopped to talk with vendors selling olives and beef sausage (I got a quick demonstration of how this is all made) and cow stomach and such.
