From Lincoln

After two days of auditions, we have heard and seen more than 210 students.  We’ll be close to 340 by the time Wednesday is over.

And then call-backs start Wednesday at 3!

Earlier Tuesday, Jack and Sigrid were caught in similar sunglasses.

And I had some yummy local pizza for dinner.

Meticulous

In my father’s boxes were years and years of diaries, mostly recording the comings and goings of people, the letters received, the weather, and the like.  He never shared any of this with us, so I’m not certain why he kept such meticulous records.

Here’s a page from 1995, when he and my mother were in Argentina as missionaries.  The daily high and low temps are recorded in Celsius.

The week included a reimbursement check, supper with friends, lunch at Burger King but no church that day, a call from me, letters from the USA, and executive committee meeting, and a birthday party for my mother.
