Monthly Archives: June 2018

In my father’s boxes were years and years of diaries, mostly recording the comings and goings of people, the letters received, the weather, and the like.  He never shared any of this with us, so I’m not certain why he kept such meticulous records.

Here’s a page from 1995, when he and my mother were in Argentina as missionaries.  The daily high and low temps are recorded in Celsius.

The week included a reimbursement check, supper with friends, lunch at Burger King but no church that day, a call from me, letters from the USA, and executive committee meeting, and a birthday party for my mother.

International Thespian Festival

I am once again in Lincoln, Nebraska for a week of student engagement at the International Thespian Festival.

We started the journey on Sunday morning, arriving in Lincoln less than 8 hours later.

And then the crew from Webster enjoyed a steak dinner at Misty’s, across the street from our Embassy Suites hotel.

I’ll have photos and updates throughout the week!
