Doctor: “Looking good. Remodeling is started, and everything is lined up.”
Me: “So I’m done with the boot.”
Doctor: “Sorry. Three weeks more. Then we’ll talk about a splint for a while, and about physical therapy.”
I’m hopeful that I’ll be out of the boot by Memorial Day.
The good news is that I can walk around at home at night with the boot off if I wish, as long as I have the splint on. And so I shall, from time to time.
Patience is not my strong suit right now.
