Photos from the visit. Stories to follow . . . .
I have much to report about Gloucester this evening, but at 10.30 p.m., and in the hotel bar after a late dinner, I’m weary and ready to head upstairs. So, I post some pictures of the outbound journey from Paddington Station to Gloucester!
Eucharist this morning was in the Islip Chapel at Westminster Abbey.
And I stopped at Howells’ grave and said a prayer of thanksgiving to God for this special man. And then I cried.
This is Gloucester day, where I will interview the Canon Musician at Gloucester Cathedral, Adrian Partington. And then I will attend an All-Howells Evensong there. Today is Howells’ 120th birthday anniversary.
