Fall break. Walks in the park. Leaves falling. Cooler weather. Blue skies. The only thing better would have been Misha by my side.
Dinner last evening featured (here’s the play-by-play):
- Carrot and leek tart with Stone Hill golden spumante (thanks, Tim Sharnas!)
- Beef & spinach cannelloni with homemade red sauce, salad of spring greens with almonds and strawberries, garlic butter green beans, and fresh bread (thank, D!) served with an Australian red wine blend
- that wonderful walnut/cocoa/sinful things concoction (thanks, Misha sweetie!) with port, coffee, and tea.
A good time was had by all.
I’m pretty miserable today, but it’s that kind of miserable when you enjoyed a good meal and went a bit overboard. No complaints from me…..
