Sarah Bryan Miller of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch gave me a shout in her blog tonight.
I’m reminded of how, even in a larger city, we are all connected. I wrote a few weeks ago of running into a faculty colleague at my first-night meal in St. Louis. This weekend, with two dear friends in town for a holiday weekend, I stumbled into two new people in my life in two different restaurants.
We were dining on Saturday at Pho Grand, and as we left, there was Wendell from the Gateway Men’s Chorus. Random place, random time, and random run-into.
I won’t be anonymous in this town, I think.
