I preached at both services today, then had a fine luncheon with Leonard and Susan Atherton.
Ted Wooten came by to bid on loading my belongings in my Penske truck this Saturday. Then I started in earnest on the kitchen. The antique dishes are completely packed, as are most of the day-to-day. The spice cabinet, the mugs, the baking dishes – all of this is done now too. But I have a ways to go in the kitchen yet!
My neighbor Hal Caldwell invited me over for a late drink tonight. Jim Helton joined. A good time was had by all.
Now for more packing before I head to bed.
